Abortion Advocacy

I include in this category events that have led to the current situation: abortion on demand in most developed countries, a strong push for legalization worldwide regardless of the social and/or religious mores of developing nations, enthusiasm for eugenics and population control, out-of-control abortionists getting away with malpractice, and so on.

I doubt that most abortion advocates intended for things to get as bad as they are. In fact, most abortion advocates seem blind to how bad things are. Feminists repeat bland assurances that Chinese women support the draconian "family-planning" program forced on them by their government. Population controllers ensure us that reports of unsafe abortions being promoted in developing countries are not their fault. Legal butchers are dismissed as abberations. As long as they don't look at the big picture, abortion advocates can cling to their Utopian visions. Sadly, women around the world are paying a high price for this narrow vision.
